Distinguished Scholar Program

Please note that the Distinguished Scholars Program Scholarships are only for first-time freshman students beginning their studies in the fall semester. Students must live on campus and be U.S. citizens or permanent residents to receive these three scholarships. Scholarships are guaranteed to qualified students who are accepted and provide official documentation of meeting the necessary criteria by March 1. A scholarship application is not necessary. To maintain the scholarship award, be sure to pay your enrollment deposit by the due date.

Excellence in Education Scholarship

Free tuition (equivalent to NYS tuition rate), room (double occupancy at minimum rate), and board (14-meal plan); multiple scholarships available; students must possess a 94 (3.7 on 4.0 scale) or better high school average through their junior year; at least a 1310 combined reading/writing and math SAT or 28 composite ACT score is required, and New York State students must apply for financial aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the New York State Aid Payment application with any tuition specific awards applied toward the cost of tuition; must maintain required GPA to continue to receive funding in subsequent semesters. (Current total value--$80,080 if enrolled in baccalaureate degree program; $40,040 if enrolled in associate degree program.)

Students are required to earn a 3.25 GPA each semester to maintain this scholarship.

Presidential Scholarship

Free room (double occupancy at minimum rate); multiple scholarships available; students must possess a 91 (3.5 on 4.0 scale) or better high school average through their junior year; at least a 1270 combined reading/writing and math SAT or 26 composite ACT score is required; must maintain required GPA to continue to receive free room in subsequent semesters. (Current total value--$31,520 if enrolled in baccalaureate degree program; $15,760 if enrolled in associate degree program.)

Students are required to earn a 3.0 GPA each semester to maintain this scholarship.

All-American Scholarship

Free board (14-meal plan); multiple scholarships available; students must possess an 89 (3.3 on 4.0 scale) or better high school average through their junior year; at least a 1220 combined reading/writing and math SAT or 24 composite ACT score is required; must maintain required GPA to continue to receive free board in subsequent semesters. (Current total value--$20,280 if enrolled in baccalaureate degree program; $10,140 if enrolled in associate degree program.)

Students are required to earn a 3.0 GPA each semester to maintain this scholarship.
